Spike Helmet

Although this hat is very stylish, this helmet is extremely small and made of leather to keep from wearing. They didn't want this helmet to wear because they wanted it to be strong in case of an avalanche. Everything on this helmet is a symbol of something. The spike is a symbol of Germany. They wanted to let everybody know that Germany is is the only country with a spike on their helmet. The giant eagle is also a symbol of Germany. That is their countries bird.
What made these coats special were the epaulettes. That is what made every coat special. These epaulettes is their pattern/number. Every different level of soldier wore different epaulettes with different numbers or patterns.
This right here is a hate belt. Soldiers would use to remember all of the soldiers they have killed. Some buttons are worth alot because they could've come off of a general or somebody important.

German Uniforms
A symbol you would see a lot of on the German uniforms was the cross. Sometimes they would have badges called the Iron Cross.
